ThinkSystem SR655 is a multi-GPU optimized rack server, with up to 6 single-wide GPUs providing 200% more GPGPU for workload acceleration in AI, inference, software-defined infrastructure (SDI) and virtualized desktop infrastructure (VDI). Increased VDI instances, up to 64 cores, provide cutting edge application efficiency in EMR, PACS, and Medical Imaging in healthcare applications, as well as in running electronic trading platforms for financial applications. SR655 can support 32NVMe solid-state drives along with high speed networking make it an excellent choice for workloads that need large amounts of low-latency high-bandwidth storage, including virtualized clustered SAN solutions, software-defined storage, and applications leveraging NVMe over Fabrics. It is also well-suited for networking security and telco uses as it supports up to 9x PCIe Gen4 slots for added scalability.
